Mainland helps monitor Hawaii quakes, eruptions

HONOLULU (AP) — U.S. Geographical Service outposts in other states are helping monitor Hawaii's volcanoes and earthquakes while work is done to repair Tropical Storm Iselle's damage to the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory.
