In change of position, City Council says new police chief not required to live in Broomfield

City Council has changed its position on residency requirements for Broomfield's new police chief. At their meeting Tuesday, council members voted against an ordinance that would have required the new police chief to either live in Broomfield or find a home in Broomfield within six months of accepting the job.
