Colorado winter wheat grows strong thanks to summer rains

What kind of winter wheat is planted in Weld County? Currently, non-irrigated hard red wheat makes up a majority of the winter wheat planted in Weld County, with 94,359 acres. An additional 17,078 acres of irrigated hard red wheat is also planted in the county.
