A car crashed into a fire hydrant in Colorado Springs early Saturday morning (5/24/14), causing a sinkhole and street flooding. The crash happened around 3 a.m. in the 3600 block of Montebello Dr. Police are investigating the crash as a hit-and-run. Police say one home is possibly flooded, but that the home appears to be unoccupied. Colorado Springs Utilities also responded to the scene.
