Barack Obama and Jared Polis want rules for online privacy in schools

Now that laptops and iPads have become more prominent in the classroom, there's a growing concern about the ability of educators to protect students from privacy breaches and unwanted advertising. Such worries led President Barack Obama — with an assist from Colorado congressman Jared Polis — to outline a new plan this week that would add another line of defense for grades K-12.
