Amtrak’s Southwest Chief pulls into the Lamy station in January 2014. After two years of uncertainty about the future of the train’s route through Northern New Mexico, southern Colorado and western Kansas, Amtrak says the route will remain and the deadline to secure funding for track repairs has been lifted.
