The 2013-14 Bruins will go down in team history as the “What Could Have Been B’s.” You might have to go all the way back to 1971 to find a Bruins team that had such high hopes only to be dashed — and by their archrivals, the Montreal Canadiens. That ’71 team was coming off a Stanley Cup win, had broken many offensive records and was the clear favorite to win the Cup again that spring.
