Mountain lion causes ‘lockout’ at Glenwood school

A mountain lion out for a stroll in Glenwood Springs made for both a frightening and educational experience for students at Sopris Elementary School on Wednesday. The cat was sighted near the building at about 1 p.m., according to Glenwood Springs Police Chief Terry Wilson. read more
