The city of Steamboat Springs announced Friday that Howelsen Hill Ski Area will be opening the Schnackenberg Poma and Boardwalk Magic Carpet Saturday, for the 2014-15 ski season. The Poma and Boardwalk lifts are scheduled to operate Tuesday through Sunday during normal operating hours. Howelsen is scheduled to be closed Mondays all season.
