Horse meat part of some Clovis zoo animals’ diets

Hillcrest Park Zoo Director Vince Romero said some of Clovis’ animals, like those in Albuquerque’s zoo, eat horse meat as part of their regular diet. The tiger, bobcat and wolves in Hillcrest eat a combination of beef and horse meat supplied by Triple A Brand Meat Company in Colorado, Romero said.
