Twin waterfalls in the Colorado National Monument during a monsoon storm. The passing car gives a good sense of their size. Rim Rock Drive, the 23-mile road that winds up, down, and around the canyons of the CNM, is a marvel of engineering even on the driest, sunniest of days. Those guys knew something about drainage, too; otherwise, the road would have washed away decades ago. by co_coyote
