Troopers with the Colorado State Patrol investigate an accident near Basalt that killed a motorcycle driver Saturday on Highway 82. The crash occurred 1 mile west of Basalt and one-quarter mile east of the old Emma store on Highway 82. A Ford station wagon was going the wrong direction, according to the initial report from the Colorado State Patrol.
