Stephen “Steve” Kaisler died Thursday, June 26 in a rafting accident on the Platte River near Saratoga. He was born in Laramie on Sept. 15, 1943, to Frank and Ann M. “Babe” (née Baillie) Kaisler and spent 66 of his 70 years on the fifth-generation family ranch on the Little Laramie River.
