100 Years Ago: Miners strike; chickens run wild; women’s undergarments stolen in Greeley

In Fort Lupton, the town was abuzz for a week during a trial between farmers on the ownership of some cattle, and the jury finally reached a verdict at 4 o’clock in the morning. However, the jury members refused to announce their verdict until they were paid their jury fees by the court.
