UCSB enters its Thursday game at UC Irvine with an overall record of 18-7 and a Big West record of 9-3. The Gauchos are tied with Irvine for first-place in the Big West Conference and have won two straight, six of seven, nine of 11, and are 15-4 in the last 19 games.
