An official announcement should come this weekend at the NHL All-Star Game in Columbus, Ohio. The Avalanche will reportedly play the Detroit Red Wings with the Wild playing host to the Chicago Blackhawks. The games are expected to be played at Coors Field in Denver and Target Field in Minneapolis.
