With each school making a run early on, it came down to the final eight minutes between Division III Northland Prep and D-II Coconino on Thursday night. With the Spartans finding their way to the free-throw line often in the fourth quarter, their consistent shooting led the way to a 65-57 victory over the Panthers in the first round of the Pepsi Holiday Tournament at Flagstaff High School.
