Rifle Bears come out of hibernation early for football practice

Rifle High School football players go through blocking drills during the first practice of the year on Monday morning at Bears Stadium in Rifle. It was the first practice of the season for the Bears, who began practice at 12;01 a.m. for the third consecutive season.
