Pueblo West man dies in rollover
PENROSE — A one-vehicle rollover crash claimed the life of a 78-year-old Pueblo West man on U.S. 50 near Colorado 115 here Thursday morning. Fremont County Coroner Carlette Brocious identified the victim as Walter Giffin.

CRIME BEAT: Intersection opens after brick cleanup
An accident closed a busy Pueblo intersection for about 40 minutes Thursday afternoon. A semitrailer lost a load of bricks while attempting to make a turn at the intersection of U.S. 50 West and North Elizabeth Street around 3 p.m. Thursday, according to police.
