Boy hurt when bottle with acid explodes in Highlands Ranch

HIGHLANDS RANCH — The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says a child suffered minor injuries when a plastic bottle he found in a park exploded. Spokesman Ron Hanavan says the child was playing with friends in Dad Clark Park on Tuesday when the child touched the bottle and it exploded.
